Terms of Service

Effective October 12, 2026 · Generative AI Teknoloji Anonim Sirketi

Welcome to Pals. These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between you and Generative AI Teknoloji Anonim Sirketi, a joint-stock company organized under the laws of the Republic of Türkiye ("we", "us" or "our"). They cover the Pals iPhone app, your personal AI assistant inside it ("your Pal"), and the services we run to make it work (together, "Pals").

These Terms are also the end-user license agreement (EULA) for the Pals app. Section 21 holds terms that Apple requires.

By creating an account or using Pals, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle your information. If you don't agree, please don't use Pals.

Please read Section 20 (Disputes). It explains how we will try to resolve any disagreement with you, and which law and courts apply. In short, the laws of the Republic of Türkiye govern these Terms, and you keep the consumer protections of your US state that can't be waived. Outside small claims court, claims you bring go to the courts of Istanbul, Türkiye, unless your state's law lets you bring them where you live. Claims we bring against you go only to the courts where you live.

The short version

This summary helps you find your way. It doesn't replace the full Terms below.

  • Pals is for adults (18 and older) in the United States.
  • You sign in with Apple. You buy Pals Plus and any add-ons through Apple, and you cancel or ask for refunds through Apple.
  • Your Pal is an AI assistant, not a person. It can make mistakes. Check what matters.
  • Your Pal asks for your approval before it does things that speak for you or are hard to undo. You are responsible for what you approve.
  • Your Pal's own email address and phone number are for your personal tasks. Never use them for spam, marketing, bulk messages or robocalls.
  • Your Pal always says it is an AI assistant when it writes or calls in its own name.
  • You own your content. We use it to run Pals for you, keep it safe and meet the law, and we don't use it to train AI models.
  • Pals is not an emergency service. In an emergency, call 911.
  • You can delete your account in the app at any time.
  • The laws of the Republic of Türkiye govern these Terms, and your state's consumer protections that can't be waived still apply. Claims you bring outside small claims court go to the courts of Istanbul, Türkiye, unless your state's law lets you bring them where you live. We bring any claim against you only where you live (Section 20).

1. Who can use Pals

Age. You must be at least 18 years old to use Pals. Pals has no mode for minors. If we learn that someone under 18 is using Pals, we may suspend or delete the account.

Location. Pals is available only in the United States, through the US App Store. Some features, like your Pal's phone number and calls, work only with US phone numbers.

Personal use. Pals is for your own personal, non-commercial use. Please don't use it to run a business, to serve other people, or as part of another product.

Legal ability. You must be able to form a binding contract, and you must not be barred from using Pals under US law or any other law that applies to you.

2. Your account

Sign in with Apple. You create your Pals account and sign in with Sign in with Apple. Apple's terms apply to your Apple Account.

One person per account. Your account is for you alone. Don't share it, sell it or transfer it.

Keep your devices secure. Your iPhone, Face ID and passcode protect your account and your approvals. You are responsible for activity on your account, including approvals made on your devices. If you think someone else has used your account, contact us at hello@aistudio.works right away.

Accurate information. The first name you give your Pal is the name it uses when it writes or speaks for you. Use your own name. Don't use a name that misleads people about who you are.

3. Subscriptions, add-ons and payments

Apple handles all payments. You buy Pals Plus and any add-ons through Apple's In-App Purchase. Apple processes the payment, and Apple's terms for purchases apply. We never receive or store your card details.

Auto-renewal. Pals Plus is an auto-renewing subscription. In the US App Store, the monthly plan costs US$19.99 a month at launch. We may offer other plans or billing periods, and the App Store shows each one's current price and period before you buy. Apple charges your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase (or, with a free trial, when the trial ends), and charges each renewal within the 24 hours before the current period ends. Your subscription renews automatically unless you turn off auto-renew at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.

How to cancel. Only you can cancel, and you do it through Apple: open the Settings app on your iPhone, tap your name, then Subscriptions. You can also visit apps.apple.com/account/subscriptions. When you cancel, you keep access until the end of the period you already paid for. Deleting the Pals app or your Pals account does not cancel your subscriptions.

Free trials. If we offer a free trial, the App Store shows its length and the price that applies after it before you start. Unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends, Apple starts charging you when it ends. A trial may include a smaller allowance or fewer features than a paid plan, and Apple allows one trial per Apple Account.

Usage allowance. Your plan includes an allowance of work your Pal can do each week. The app shows how much you have used and when it resets. Unused allowance doesn't carry over. When you reach your allowance, new tasks may wait until it resets. Work that is already running may finish. Approving or declining actions, managing your memory and privacy settings, and deleting your account always stay available. We may set reasonable limits on things like the number of routines, devices, messages and calls, to keep Pals fair and safe for everyone.

Price changes. We may change our prices. Apple will tell you before a new price applies to your subscription and, where required, ask you to agree to it. If you don't want to pay the new price, you can cancel before it takes effect.

Refunds. Apple handles all refund requests under its own policies. You can ask Apple for a refund at reportaproblem.apple.com or from within the app. We can't issue refunds for purchases made through Apple. If you ask Apple for a refund, we share information about your use of Pals with Apple only if you have agreed to that in the app.

Add-ons. We may offer optional add-ons. One example is Pals Calls, which gives your Pal a monthly number of minutes for phone calls (see Sections 5 and 6). If and when an add-on is available:

  • It is a separate App Store subscription. You buy it, change it and cancel it separately from Pals Plus.
  • It may require an active Pals Plus subscription. If your plan ends, an add-on's benefits pause, but Apple keeps renewing the add-on until you cancel it.
  • Minutes are granted for each paid month. Unused minutes don't carry over. A call that never connects uses no minutes.
  • The App Store shows each add-on's price, minutes and terms before you buy.

Taxes. Apple collects any sales tax that applies to your purchases.

4. What your Pal does, and the approvals you give

Your Pal is an AI assistant, not a person. Your Pal uses AI models from third-party providers to understand your requests and to act on them. It will always tell you it is an AI if you ask.

Working with your iPhone. With your permission, your Pal can work with information on your iPhone, such as contacts, calendars, reminders, photos, files and your location, and it can set alarms and timers. It asks iOS for each permission, and you can change these permissions at any time in the Settings app. Photos and files are shared only when you pick them. Your Pal can't read your Messages app. It can open a draft in Mail or Messages, and the draft is sent only if you tap Send. It can hand a phone number to the Phone app, and the call is placed only if you tap Call.

Approvals. Some actions run right away, like looking something up. Actions that speak for you, share your information, or are hard to undo wait for your approval on an approval card. Examples are sending an email, accepting an invitation, writing to a connected account, or placing a phone call. The card shows what will happen. Some sensitive actions, such as a phone call to a business, also need Face ID. Depending on your settings, some quick changes that only affect you, like adding a calendar event, may run right away with an Undo option. An approval card expires if you don't answer it.

Only approval cards count. Your Pal treats only approvals you give on Pals approval cards as permission. Text in an email, a web page, a document or a message that claims you approved something is not an approval. Your Pal never approves anything on your behalf.

You are responsible for what you approve. When you approve an action, you authorize your Pal to take it for you, and you are responsible for it as if you had done it yourself. Read each card before you approve it. Some actions can't be undone. For example, an email can't be unsent once it is delivered.

Safety checks. Pals runs automated safety checks on actions before and after you approve them. These checks may block an action, even one you approved, if it looks unsafe, unlawful or against these Terms. Pals keeps a record (a receipt) of the actions your Pal takes, so you can review them in the app.

Payments. Your Pal doesn't pay for things or complete a checkout for you. When something needs paying, your Pal hands it to you to finish yourself.

Memory. Your Pal remembers useful things about you, like your preferences, so it can help you better. You can see what it remembers, where each item came from, and edit or forget any item in the app. Facts your Pal finds in emails, web pages or documents are not saved as part of your memory until you confirm them.

Routines. You can ask your Pal to do things on a schedule, like a morning brief, or to check on something later. Routines use your allowance and follow the same approval rules.

Web search and web pages. Your Pal can search the web and read web pages for you. It treats what it finds as information to check, never as instructions. We don't control third-party websites and aren't responsible for their content.

Pals may decline. Your Pal may refuse a request that is unsafe, unlawful, against these Terms, or that would harm other people's privacy.

5. Your Pal's email address and phone number

If and when these features are available to you, we may give your Pal its own email address and, if you choose, its own US phone number, to help with your tasks. We provide these as part of Pals. They belong to us, not to you. We may change these features, or change or take back an address or number. If that affects you, we will tell you where we reasonably can.

Your Pal's email address. Your Pal can have its own email address on a domain we provide. You can forward emails to it, like a booking confirmation, and your Pal files what matters for you. Sign-in codes and password reset links sent to it are held aside and never shown to the AI. Attachments are not stored. Your Pal can also create masked addresses for sites you use, and you can turn them off.

  • Your Pal sends email from its address only when you ask. A new recipient needs your approval on an approval card first.
  • Every email says it comes from your Pal. It is sent as "Pals for" your first name, with the footer "Sent by Pals, an AI assistant, on behalf of" your first name.
  • Messages go to one person, or a few people you choose. We limit the number of recipients and emails each day.
  • If a recipient's address bounces or the recipient reports your Pal's email as spam, your Pal stops sending to them.
  • We never give your Pal's email address to anyone else, even after you delete your account.

Your Pal's phone number (opt-in). If you turn it on and accept the terms shown in the app, your Pal gets its own US phone number, shown to others as PALS ASSISTANT.

  • When someone calls this number, for example a business calling back after your Pal called it, your Pal answers. Before anything else, it says it is an AI assistant answering for you and that the call may be recorded. Then it takes the message or the answer and puts it in your Inbox with a transcript. We keep the transcript, not the audio.
  • Your Pal never pretends to be you or a human.
  • Text messages sent to this number are used only to catch sign-in codes for your tasks. Your Pal doesn't send text messages from this number. (When you add your own phone number for calls, we send it a verification code by text message or voice call.)
  • Answering calls may use add-on minutes. Without minutes, your Pal may tell callers it can't take the call.
  • If you turn the number off, or your add-on or account ends, your Pal stops answering it. We hold the number for a waiting period and then return it to our phone carrier. We won't give it to another Pals user. You can't take the number with you to another provider unless we offer a way to do that.

Rules for both.

  • Use your Pal's address and number only for your own personal tasks. Never use them for marketing, advertising, bulk or unsolicited messages, or robocalls.
  • Don't use them to create fake or bulk accounts, or to get around another service's rules or verification.
  • Don't use them as the sign-in, two-step verification or recovery contact for your bank, your Apple Account, your main email or other important accounts. Codes may not always arrive, and you could lose access if you stop using Pals.
  • You are responsible for the messages and calls you ask your Pal to send or make.

6. Calls your Pal places for you

If and when this feature is available to you, your Pal can call a business for you, for example to ask a question, check an order or make a booking.

  • Only at your request, and only with your approval. Your Pal places a call only when you ask. Before each call, an approval card shows the business and its number, the reason for the call, the facts your Pal may share, the exact opening it will say, and the minutes. You approve each call with Face ID.
  • AI disclosure first. Every call starts with your Pal saying it is an AI assistant calling on your behalf, and that the call is recorded and transcribed. It never says it is you or a human.
  • Businesses only. Your Pal calls only US business landlines, fixed internet phone lines and toll-free numbers. Apart from calling your own verified number when you ask to join a call, it doesn't call mobile phones, homes or personal numbers. It never calls 911, other emergency or crisis lines, or premium-rate numbers. It calls one business at a time, never a list of numbers.
  • Calling hours and limits. Your Pal calls only during permitted calling hours at the business's location. Each call has a time limit, and there are daily limits on calls.
  • Opt-outs. If anyone on a call asks your Pal to stop calling, your Pal confirms it, ends the call, and adds the number to a do-not-call list that applies to every Pals user.
  • What your Pal says. Your Pal shares only the facts you approved on the card. It never shares card numbers, security codes, passwords, PINs, Social Security numbers or bank account numbers. It won't agree to payments, fees, contracts or cancellations for you. If a booking needs a deposit, a card or your agreement to terms, your Pal asks you to join the call or checks back with you. Even so, AI can misunderstand people on a call. Check the transcript and the result, and confirm anything important yourself.
  • Joining a call. If you add and verify your own phone number, your Pal can bring you into a call by calling that number when you choose to join.
  • Transcripts. We keep a written transcript of each call so you can see what was said. The call's audio is processed live to make the transcript, which is why your Pal says the call is recorded and transcribed. We keep the transcript, not the audio. If we ever start keeping audio recordings, we will update these Terms and our Privacy Policy first.
  • Your responsibility. You are responsible for the purpose of each call and the facts you approve. Use calls only for lawful, genuine personal tasks.

7. Connected accounts and other third-party services

Connecting is optional. You can connect other accounts to Pals, such as Google (for example Gmail, Google Calendar, Google Tasks, Google Contacts and Google Docs), Notion or Todoist. The services we support may change. You don't need to connect any account to use Pals.

How it works. You sign in to each service through its own sign-in page and choose what to allow. We store these sign-ins encrypted on our servers, never on your iPhone. Your Pal treats what it reads from connected accounts as information, never as instructions. Writing to a connected account, like sending an email or accepting an invitation, needs your approval. You can disconnect an account at any time in the app, or through the service itself.

Their terms apply. Each connected service is run by another company under its own terms and privacy policy, which you agree to with that company. We aren't responsible for those services, their availability, or changes they make that affect Pals. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle data from connected accounts, including data from Google.

Service providers. We use other companies to run Pals, including AI model providers, cloud hosting providers and, for your Pal's email and phone features, email and phone carriers. Our Privacy Policy lists them and explains what they receive.

8. Acceptable use

You agree to use Pals lawfully and respectfully. You must not use Pals, or ask your Pal, to do any of the following:

  • Break any law, or help someone else break one.
  • Harass, threaten, bully, stalk, defraud, exploit or harm anyone.
  • Send spam, marketing, advertising, chain letters, or bulk or unsolicited messages, by email or any other way.
  • Make robocalls, telemarketing or sales calls, political or survey calls, or calls to lists of numbers, or call anyone who has asked not to be called.
  • Impersonate any person, business or government agency, or hide or misrepresent who is calling or writing. This includes asking your Pal to pretend to be you, a human, or anyone else.
  • Make deceptive calls or send deceptive messages, including scams, phishing, or tricks to get someone's personal or account information.
  • Gather personal details about a private person, build profiles of people, or track someone without their consent.
  • Send other people's personal information, like a contact list, in bulk or on a schedule to anyone other than yourself.
  • Use Pals to decide whether someone gets a job, housing, credit, insurance or education, or to rank, screen or score people for such decisions.
  • Create, request or share sexual content involving minors, sexual or intimate images of a real person without their consent, or content that sexualizes a real person.
  • Infringe anyone's intellectual property, privacy or other rights.
  • Get around approvals, safety checks, usage limits or other protections, or try to trick your Pal into ignoring its rules.
  • Access or try to access another user's account or data, or probe, scan, attack or disrupt Pals or its systems.
  • Copy, reverse engineer, decompile or take apart the app or our services, except where the law allows it despite this rule.
  • Use automated means to access Pals, use it as a general AI service for other software, build a competing product, or resell or share access to Pals.
  • Upload malware or harmful code.
  • Break the terms of a connected service or of any website or business your Pal deals with for you.

We may use automated systems and, where needed, human review to detect and prevent misuse. If you violate this section, we may block actions, limit features, or suspend or close your account (see Section 15).

9. AI output and its limits

AI can be wrong. Your Pal's answers and actions come from AI models. They can be inaccurate, incomplete, out of date or inappropriate, even when they sound confident. Information your Pal finds on the web or in emails and documents may also be wrong. Check important information yourself before you rely on it, and review approval cards carefully.

Not professional advice. Pals is not a doctor, nurse, therapist, lawyer, accountant or financial adviser. Your Pal's output is not medical, mental health, legal, tax, financial or other professional advice. For decisions that matter, talk to a qualified professional.

Not an emergency service. Pals can't call 911 or any emergency service for you, and it may not respond in time in an emergency. If you or someone else is in danger, call 911. If you are thinking about suicide or are in crisis, call or text 988 to reach the 988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline.

Results may vary. Your Pal may give different answers to similar requests, and its output may be similar to what other people receive.

10. Your content

What "your content" means. Your content includes what you give Pals, such as your requests, messages, photos and files; the information from your iPhone and connected accounts that you let your Pal use; and what your Pal produces for you.

You own your content. As between you and us, you keep all rights you have in your content, and you own what your Pal produces for you, to the extent the law allows.

Our license to run Pals for you. You give us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to host, store, copy, process, transmit and display your content, only as needed to provide, maintain, secure and support Pals for you, to comply with the law, and to enforce these Terms. This includes letting our service providers do the same on our behalf, as described in our Privacy Policy. This license ends when your content is deleted, except for limited copies we must keep for a short time in backups or by law.

No training on your content. We don't use your content to train AI models.

Web searches. When your Pal searches the web for you, the search words it sends to a web-search provider are handled under that provider's terms. Some of these providers may use search words to improve their services, so your Pal never sends them a search from a conversation that has used your connected accounts. Our Privacy Policy explains this.

Your responsibility. You are responsible for your content and for how you use your Pal's output. You confirm that you have the rights and permissions needed to share your content with Pals, including any information about other people.

11. Our intellectual property and your license to use the app

Pals, including the app, our software, designs and logos, belongs to us and our licensors and is protected by law. These Terms don't give you any right to use our name, logos or trademarks.

Subject to these Terms, we give you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the Pals app on Apple-branded devices that you own or control, as permitted by the Usage Rules in the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions, for your personal, non-commercial use, except that the app may be accessed and used by other accounts associated with you through Family Sharing or volume purchasing, where Apple allows it. We keep all rights we don't expressly give you.

12. Feedback

If you send us ideas, suggestions or feedback about Pals, we may use them freely, without owing you anything. Please don't include personal information about other people in feedback.

13. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices and rights you have. We don't sell your personal information, and we don't show ads.

14. Changes to Pals

Pals is a new and evolving service. We may add, change or remove features, change which services you can connect, or change usage limits. Some features may be labeled early access or test features. They may be less reliable, and they may change or end. If a change takes away something important you paid for, we will tell you in advance where we reasonably can.

15. Suspension and termination

You can stop at any time. You can stop using Pals and delete your account whenever you like (see Section 16). Remember to cancel your subscriptions through Apple too.

We may suspend or close your account if:

  • you seriously or repeatedly break these Terms;
  • your use puts other people, us or our service providers at risk;
  • we suspect fraud, abuse or unauthorized access to your account;
  • we are required to by law, by a court, or by a provider we depend on; or
  • your plan has ended and your account has been inactive for a long time, after we give you notice.

We may also first limit features, block specific actions, or pause your Pal. When we suspend or close an account, we will tell you why where the law and safety allow, and explain how to ask us to review the decision. While your account is suspended, you may still be able to approve or decline pending items and delete your account.

What happens next. When your account closes, your license to use Pals ends. Sections that by their nature should survive, such as Sections 9, 10, 12, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21 and 23, continue to apply.

16. Deleting your account

You can delete your account in the app's settings. To protect you, the app asks you to confirm, and you may need to sign in again.

  • 7-day grace period. Your account is scheduled for deletion. During the next 7 days you can cancel the deletion, or choose to delete right away. Until then, you can't use Pals, except to cancel or speed up the deletion. Your routines may keep running until the grace period ends. To stop them sooner, choose Delete now, or pause Pals before you delete your account.
  • Connected accounts. Deleting your account disconnects your connected accounts: we ask each provider to revoke Pals' access and destroy your stored sign-ins, as our Privacy Policy explains.
  • Your data. After the grace period, we delete your account and your Pal's workspace, including its memory, and the other information described in our Privacy Policy. Some information may stay for a limited time in backups, and some we keep longer where the law requires or allows it, as the Privacy Policy explains. Phone numbers that have asked not to be called stay on our do-not-call list.
  • Your subscription. Deleting your account does not cancel Pals Plus or any add-on subscription. Each keeps renewing until you cancel it in Settings.
  • Remaining allowance. Any remaining allowance, credits or add-on minutes end with your account, and we don't refund them.
  • Your Pal's address and number. Your Pal's email addresses are retired and never given to anyone else. Your Pal's phone number is held for a period and then returned to our phone carrier. We won't give it to another Pals user.

17. Disclaimers

Pals is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent the law allows, we and our licensors and service providers disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title and non-infringement, and any warranties arising from a course of dealing or usage.

We don't promise that Pals will always be available, uninterrupted, secure or error-free, that AI output will be accurate, or that any action, email, call or task will succeed. We aren't responsible for third-party services, websites or businesses your Pal deals with for you, or for what they do.

Some states don't allow certain warranties to be disclaimed. If so, these disclaimers apply only as far as your state's law allows.

18. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows:

  • We won't be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data or goodwill, arising from or related to Pals or these Terms, even if we were told they were possible.
  • Our total liability for all claims arising from or related to Pals or these Terms is limited to the greater of the amount you paid for Pals in the 12 months before the event that gave rise to the claim, or US$100.

These limits apply whatever the legal theory, including contract, tort (including negligence) or product liability. They don't limit liability that can't be limited by law, such as liability for fraud, or for death or personal injury caused by our negligence. Some states don't allow these limits, so they may not fully apply to you.

19. Indemnity

To the extent the law allows, you agree to defend, indemnify and hold harmless Generative AI Teknoloji Anonim Sirketi and its officers, employees and agents from claims, losses and costs (including reasonable legal fees) brought by third parties to the extent they arise from your breach of these Terms, your violation of law or of someone else's rights, or your content. This doesn't apply to the extent a claim is caused by our own breach of these Terms or our own misconduct. We will tell you about any such claim and let you take part in the defense.

20. Disputes

Talk to us first. Most concerns can be solved quickly. Before starting any formal claim, please email hello@aistudio.works with your name, a description of the problem and what you would like us to do. We'll do the same if we have a concern about your use of Pals. We both agree to try in good faith to resolve the matter informally first, before either of us starts a formal proceeding. This doesn't stop either of us from going to small claims court, or from seeking urgent court orders to stop misuse of Pals or of intellectual property.

Governing law. These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. This doesn't take away any consumer protection that the law of the US state where you live gives you and that can't be waived by agreement.

Where claims are heard. If we can't resolve a dispute informally, either of us may bring a claim in small claims court where you live, if it qualifies. Otherwise, claims you bring will be heard in the courts of Istanbul, Türkiye, unless the law of the US state where you live gives you the right to bring the claim in the courts where you live. If we bring a claim against you, we will bring it only in the courts where you live, including small claims court.

21. Apple App Store terms

These terms apply because you got the Pals app from Apple's App Store.

  • Agreement with us, not Apple. These Terms are between you and Generative AI Teknoloji Anonim Sirketi only, not with Apple Inc. ("Apple"). We, not Apple, are solely responsible for the Pals app and its content.
  • License. Your license to use the app is the one in Section 11. It is limited to Apple-branded products that you own or control, as permitted by the Usage Rules in the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions, except for use by other accounts associated with you through Family Sharing or volume purchasing, where Apple allows it.
  • Maintenance and support. We are solely responsible for maintaining and supporting the app, as described in these Terms or as required by law. Apple has no obligation at all to provide maintenance or support for the app.
  • Warranty. We are solely responsible for any product warranties, whether express or implied by law, to the extent they are not effectively disclaimed. If the app fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price for the app (if any) to you. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation for the app. Any other claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs or expenses caused by a failure to conform to a warranty are our sole responsibility, to the extent not disclaimed in these Terms.
  • Product claims. We, not Apple, are responsible for addressing any claims by you or any third party relating to the app or your possession or use of it, including: (a) product liability claims; (b) any claim that the app fails to conform to any applicable legal or regulatory requirement; and (c) claims arising under consumer protection, privacy or similar laws. These Terms don't limit our liability to you beyond what applicable law permits.
  • Intellectual property claims. If a third party claims that the app, or your possession and use of it, infringes that third party's intellectual property rights, we, not Apple, are solely responsible for the investigation, defense, settlement and discharge of that claim.
  • Legal compliance. You represent and warrant that (a) you are not located in a country that is subject to a US Government embargo, or that has been designated by the US Government as a "terrorist supporting" country; and (b) you are not listed on any US Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
  • Developer name and address. Questions, complaints or claims about the app go to us, not Apple: Generative AI Teknoloji Anonim Sirketi, Idealtepe Mah. Dik Sk. No 13, Maltepe, Istanbul, Türkiye. Email: hello@aistudio.works.
  • Third-party terms. You must comply with any third-party terms that apply when you use the app, such as your wireless carrier's data service agreement.
  • Third-party beneficiary. Apple and Apple's subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms. Once you accept these Terms, Apple will have the right (and will be deemed to have accepted the right) to enforce these Terms against you as a third-party beneficiary.

If anything in this section conflicts with the rest of these Terms, this section controls for the app.

22. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make a material change, we will tell you in advance in the app, or in another reasonable way, and update the effective date above. If you keep using Pals after a change takes effect, you accept the updated Terms. If you don't agree, stop using Pals, cancel your subscription through Apple, and delete your account.

23. General

  • Entire agreement. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any terms shown to you in the app for a specific feature (for example, your Pal's phone number), are the whole agreement between you and us about Pals. If feature terms conflict with these Terms, the feature terms control for that feature.
  • Notices. We may send you notices in the app, by push notification, or by email if we have an address for you. You can reach us at hello@aistudio.works. You agree that we may provide notices and agreements electronically.
  • Assignment. You may not transfer these Terms or your account. We may transfer these Terms as part of a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, or by operation of law.
  • Severability. If a court finds part of these Terms unenforceable, the rest stays in effect, and the unenforceable part is changed only as much as needed to make it enforceable.
  • No waiver. If we don't enforce a right right away, we can still enforce it later.
  • Events beyond our control. We aren't responsible for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control, such as outages at our service providers, carriers or Apple, natural disasters or changes in law.
  • No third-party rights. Except for Apple and its subsidiaries (Section 21), no one else has rights under these Terms.
  • California residents. Under California Civil Code Section 1789.3, California users can contact the Complaint Assistance Unit of the Division of Consumer Services of the California Department of Consumer Affairs in writing at 1625 North Market Blvd., Suite N 112, Sacramento, CA 95834, or by telephone at (800) 952-5210.
